What we print, and what is yours to decide
We print stickers and labels. We print the artwork you supply, at the size and the shape you choose, on vinyl.
We do not review your label against any standard, and we do not tell you whether it is suitable for a regulated product. That includes food, cosmetics, chemicals, nutrition, allergen and safety labelling.
What the label has to say, and whether this material is right for the product it goes on, is your decision and your responsibility. If a rule applies to what you sell, check it with someone qualified before you order.

Size it off the container
- Candle tins and small jars. Two inches across usually covers the face of a tin lid or the front of a four-ounce jar.
- Bottles. Taller than wide, so set the height and width separately rather than reaching for a square.
- Lids and bases. A circle on the lid plus a rectangle on the side is two lines on one order, priced separately.
A sticker follows a gentle curve in one direction happily. It fights a curve in two directions, which is why a label on the shoulder of a bottle or the dome of a lid wants to crease. Keep the width under roughly two thirds of the way around the container and the height inside the straight part of the wall, and on a small jar prefer a taller narrow label to a wide short one.
Clean and dry the container before you apply, and start from the centre and work outward rather than laying the whole thing down at once.

We do not publish a rating for how a sticker holds up in any particular environment, and nothing on this page should be read as one. If your product depends on a specific property, contact us before you order and we will tell you what we know about the material and what we have not tested.
And two facts worth knowing before you design: every piece on a line is the same, so there is no variable text, no sequential numbering and no batch coding. Labels arrive as individual cut pieces rather than on a roll, which suits hand application and does not suit a machine applicator.

No. They come as individual pieces, each one cut to the shape of your artwork with a vinyl margin trimmed away. That is ideal for hand-applying a small batch and it is not what you want if you are feeding an applicator machine.
If you need roll-fed labels for a line, we are not the right printer for that job and we would rather tell you now.
No. Every piece on a line is the same design. There is no variable text, no sequential numbering and no batch coding.
Most small-batch makers leave a blank area in the design and write the batch or the date on by hand, or order a second small run when the batch changes.
Measure the flat-looking area you actually want to cover, not the full circumference. A sticker will follow a gentle curve in one direction, but wrapping it a long way around a small jar will make the edges lift.
As a rule, keep the label width under about two thirds of the distance around the container, and keep the height inside the straight part of the wall so the corners are not fighting a shoulder or a taper.
Count the jars in the batch and add a few for the ones you will misapply, because everyone does. The price per label falls as the quantity rises, but a drawer of labels for a scent you have stopped making is worse value than a slightly higher unit price.
