Background and border are two different things. The panel below shows the difference.

Background and border are different

Background fills the space behind your artwork, inside the cut line. Use it when your artwork has see through areas you want filled with a color.

Border is an outline that sits around the outside of the cut shape. It is what makes a die cut sticker read as a sticker. It does not fill anything in.

Both are included at no charge. You can use one, both, or neither.

Remove background

Take the background out of your file so the sticker is cut to the shape of the artwork. It runs in your browser, so you can see the result before you order.

Add a background color

Fills behind your artwork, inside the cut line.

Add a border

An outline around the outside of the cut shape.

Border thickness

A thicker border makes the sticker read as a sticker from further away. On a small sticker the same border takes up more of the shape, which is why the preview changes when you change the size.

White is the classic sticker border. Included at no charge.
