Die cut stickers here are priced by area, not by design. Multiply width by height to get square inches, then multiply by the per square inch rate for the quantity you are buying. The rate steps down as the count goes up: 35 cents at 1 to 24 pieces, 30 cents at 25 to 49, 28 cents at 50 to 99, 26 cents at 100 to 249, 24 cents at 250 to 499, and 22 cents at 500.

A worked example is easier to hold on to than a table. Take a 3 by 3 inch seal, the size many people land on when they want something that covers the flap of a small box without crowding it. That is 9 square inches. At 16 pieces you sit in the 35 cent band, so each seal is $3.15 and the sixteen come to $50.40. Push the same seal to 25 pieces and the rate drops to 30 cents, which makes each one $2.70 and the set of 25 $67.50. Nine more seals for seventeen dollars and ten cents more.

That is the shape of every band boundary on the list. It is worth checking where you sit before you settle on a count, because the piece you are buying does not change at the boundary, only what it costs you.

THE MINIMUM IS A THRESHOLD, NOT A FLOOR

An order qualifies at 10 or more pieces, or at $10 of merchandise, whichever you reach first. Those are two doors into the same room. A short run of large seals can clear the dollar figure well before it reaches ten pieces, and a run of small ones clears ten pieces long before it approaches ten dollars. It is not a price floor and it is not a penalty. It is simply the point at which an order becomes an order.

DRAWING A SEAL SO THE CUT LINE MAKES SENSE

A die cut piece is cut to the outline of the artwork, so the outline is a design decision and not an afterthought. Simple silhouettes hold their shape best at small sizes. A circle, a rounded square, a shield, a lozenge: these read cleanly at 3 inches. A shape with thin spurs or a narrow neck reads as a shape with thin spurs at full size and as a smudge at seal size.

Leave a little art beyond where you want the cut to fall so nothing important sits right on the edge, and keep small type away from the boundary. Send the highest resolution version of the file you have, and send the layered original if one exists, because a layered file lets us work with the outline instead of tracing around a flattened picture of it.
