A name that repeats across the area

Put a real shape through it. A 2 by 3 inch decal is 6 square inches. At 250 pieces you are on the 24 cent rate, so each decal is $1.44 and the 250 come to $360.00. Take that same 2 by 3 inch decal up to 500 and the rate drops to 22 cents, which puts each one at $1.32 and the full 500 at $660.00.

That is the entire calculation: area, times rate, times count. There is no separate charge for the cut line, and the number of colors in the design does not move the rate.

Size is worth settling early too, because it drives the whole price. Six square inches is a 2 by 3. A 3 by 3 is nine, half again as much area and half again as much money at the same rate. Deciding the physical size before you decide the count will save you rerunning the math twice.

The ten piece line, and what it actually means

An order qualifies at 10 or more pieces, or at $10 of merchandise, whichever of the two it reaches first. That is a qualifying line, not a price floor, so a small run is not pushed up to some minimum charge. A dozen decals for a single squad is a real order and is priced the same way a boxed run is: square inches, times the rate for that quantity band, times the count.

Who tends to be ordering

The team manager is the most common. One design, one squad, an order sized to the roster with a margin for the ones that get lost, and a preference for settling the whole thing in a single conversation rather than five.

The parent handling it for someone else comes next. Somebody volunteered, somebody has the logo in an email attachment from an old season, and the useful thing we can do is open that file and tell you plainly whether it will print cleanly at the size you want.

Then the club treasurer, who is buying for more than one squad at a time and cares mostly about the bands. Knowing that 500 lands on 22 cents while 250 sits on 24 is usually enough to decide whether the two teams order together or apart.

And the family buying a handful, a few for the bat bag and the equipment case. That is a ten piece order, it clears the line, and nobody will be talked into a box of 250 they do not want.

Questions that come up before an order is placed

My neighbor two streets over has a Valley Stream address and I have a North Valley Stream one. Can we put our decals on one order? Yes.
