How the price is worked out

Die cut stickers are priced by the square inch, using the width and height of the artwork at the size you want it printed. The rate per square inch falls as the count goes up: 35 cents at 1 to 24 pieces, 30 cents at 25 to 49, 28 cents at 50 to 99, 26 cents at 100 to 249, 24 cents at 250 to 499, and 22 cents at 500.

A worked example is easier to follow than the table. Take a 1.75 by 2.75 inch decal, the sort of size that suits a helmet side or a water bottle. That is 4.8125 square inches. At 25 pieces the rate is 30 cents, which puts each one at $1.44 and the set of 25 at $36.09. Order 50 of the same decal and the rate drops to 28 cents, so each is $1.35 and the fifty come to $67.38. The artwork has not changed and the size has not changed. Only the band has.

That is worth knowing before you settle on a count, because the step from 49 pieces to 50 moves the whole order into a cheaper rate, not just the extra one.
