Custom Die-Cut Stickers for Garden City, New York

Mineola, Garden City South and Garden City Park all sit within about two miles of one another, with Carle Place and Williston Park barely further out. Take a decal 1.75 inches by 2.75 inches, roughly the size of a logo badge set beside a door handle. That is 4.8125 square inches. Sixty of them land in the 28 cent band, so each one is $1.35 and the sixty come to $80.85. Order one hundred of the same decal instead and the band steps down to 26 cents, so each one is $1.25 and the hundred come to $125.12. The extra forty pieces cost noticeably less than the first sixty did, because the lower rate applies to the whole order and not only to the pieces above the line.

Worth knowing before you decide how many openings you are kitting out. Two decals per entrance adds up more than people expect, and the count that gets you into the next band is often closer than it looks.

## Sixteen point four miles of map

Everything we sell is printed and cut at one address, 205 East Main Street in Huntington. The straight line between that building and yours measures 16.4 miles to the south west. It is a measurement taken off a map, not a route, and it says nothing about which roads you would actually use.

## Artwork that reads from the pavement

Window and door decals are read from further away than a laptop sticker, and at an angle, and usually by somebody on the move. Bold shapes survive that. Hairline rules and eight point body text do not. If you are supplying a logo, supply the version with the fewest colours and the heaviest strokes.

Tell us where the cut should fall. A decal can be cut tight to the outline of the mark, or cut as a simple rounded rectangle around it, and the two look very different on glass. If you want a contour that follows the lettering itself, say so and send the art with the lettering as outlines rather than live type.

Sizes are yours to choose. There is no fixed catalogue of decal sizes, so a door badge, an opening times panel and a window feature can all be ordered together at whatever dimensions suit the openings you are working with.

## Ten pieces or ten dollars

An order qualifies at ten or more pieces, or at ten dollars of merchandise, whichever you reach first. It is not a price floor and it is not a minimum spend in the usual sense. A single large window graphic can clear ten dollars on its own and qualify as one piece. A batch of very small decals clears the bar on count alone. Either route is fine.

## Four counters, four different orders

The owner of a single boutique storefront usually wants one thing: the mark from the sign, repeated on the glass door, at a size that does not fight the sign itself. That is a small order, often under twenty five pieces, and the top rate band applies.

A counter service operator tends to want a stack of small ones instead: a card accepted line, an opening times panel, an arrow for the second door, a mark for the back entrance. Different shapes, same artwork family. Mixed sizes on one order still count toward the same piece total, which is usually what pulls the rate down.

A shop refitting under a new name is replacing decals on several openings at once. This is the case where the hundred piece band earns its keep, because a Garden City frontage with three windows and two doors can absorb more decals than a first count suggests. Work out the total for every opening before you price a single one.
